It has been said for years that Antalya tradesmen do not benefit enough from tourism due to the concept of all-inclusive tourism in Antalya hotels, and this is true, especially when health tourism is brought to the fore, tourist spending per capita reaches much higher levels, and especially it will contribute a lot to the benefit and occupancy rate of city hotels, and it will also make a very serious contribution to the spread of tourism over a 12-month period, not a 6-month summer tourism. In this regard, it is important for the city to cooperate with all actors and strengthen the infrastructure in the field of health tourism. Born on August 7, 1963 in Çorum, Prof. Dr. Alper Demirbaş has been continuing his work as the President of MedicalPark Antalya Hospital Organ Transplantation Center since 2008.
Prof. who performed the first tissue incompatible kidney transplant in Turkey, the first blood type incompatible kidney transplant, the first kidney-pancreas transplant program and the first cadaveric donor and live donor liver transplant in Antalya. Dr. As of August 2016, Alper Demirbaş has performed 4900 kidney transplants, 500 liver transplants and 95 pancreas transplants.
