THE AMERICANS ARE COMING FAST

Americans, who are among the top 10 countries among foreign tourists visiting Istanbul, ranked third after Russian and German citizens. According to this, the number of Americans who came to Istanbul in the first five months of the year exceeded 300 thousand. Turkish Airlines, which has been increasing its flights to the USA rapidly for the last three years, has a high share in this visitor flow. In May 2024, citizens of the Russian Federation accounted for the highest share of the total number of foreign visitors entering Istanbul with a share of 10.53 percent.
